What an Honor!

Hello Dear Friends!

Just wanted to share some exciting news with you!  One of Moda's new designers is Pat Sloan, host of American Patchwork & Quilting Radio.  Her fabrics are wonderful and I was fortunate to meet her at Quilt Market.  She has invited me to be a guest on her radio talk show on August 6th!  WOW!! I am thrilled and honored.

Show Time
Monday 4pm eastern, 3pm Central, 2pm mountain, 1pm Pacific

Please join us that afternoon as we chat about what it is like
to design fabric and the process that I use to
do so.

You can listen to the show live at

                               allpeoplequilt.com

I'm so excited!  Listen in on August 6th and we will have a contest
the next day here on my blog.  Prizes will be given to those
who can answer questions from
the broadcast!

Sounds like fun doesn't it?

Hope to have you there.
Always,
Deb

Summer Days!

Ahhhhhh......

Summer!

Hello Deer Friends!
This little sweetie has been greeting me most mornings this summer.
We have a little spring in our backyard and she enjoys
starting her day there.
What a beautiful way to start my day!

We have been enjoying our summer and watching our little grandsons
explore and discover new adventures everyday.
Last week, my deer :)) friend,
Rachel Jones and her husband, invited Arrin and I to
bring Finn and Graham to their farm to experience
all the wonders there.
What a fun day!

They loved the goats and Graham was surprised when
they loved him too!

Every corner was inspected and enjoyed....

A tractor ride (or two) was the highlight
of the trip.
Thanks for  a wonderful day Rachel and Kevin!

It even rained a little this weekend and my
hibiscus showed their gratitude.

Summer is such a wonderful time!
Hope that yours has been just as nice.

Stop by tomorrow to hear about exciting news from
American Patchwork & Quilting Radio!
I can't believe it!

Always,
Deb

A Happy, Busy Month!!

Hello Dear Friends,

I am embarrassed that it has been so long since I have blogged!  We have had a VERY busy, happy time  this past month and a half.......

The end of May brought a wonderful Quilt Market in Kansas City.

Our booth was decorated all in blues and white, featuring my new fabric line, "SPA."

Barb of Coach House Designs, designed beautiful quilts using the line.
I think it is one of my favorite groups ever!

The next weekend, was my youngest daughter, Katie's,
graduation from Savannah College of Art and Design.

Congratulations Katie!!

The next weekend, was Katie's bridal shower (at our house!)
A very hot day, but a day filled with love and
good wishes.

Two weeks after that, was the BIG event!
The rehearsal and then...

Katie's wedding!

It was a wonderful, happy event.
One that created memories and joy we will carry for a lifetime.
Katie's husband, Trevor is a treasure and we are so blessed to
have him join our family!

Katie planned all of the decorations and it turned out beautifully!
It was so much fun!

What a joyful, special day!

During all of this, my new fall fabric line was released!

I love the rich colors that remind me of autumn!

Even though, I'm a little late...
I would like to introduce you to
"Give Thanks" with a giveaway.

Two lucky winners will win the panel from this
warm, vibrant group.

One half of the panel has this cornucopia..

the other half has a welcoming pumpkin.

Just leave a comment between now and Sunday (July 15th)
at 6:00 pm and I will use Random.org
to choose 2 panel winners!
(Please let me know if you would like it in brown or black.)

Good Luck and thanks for
getting all the way to the end of this blog!

Always,
Deb
