Inroducing "Coming Home" Fabric collection

Hello Dear Friends!

If like me, you are unable to attend the International Quilt Market in Salt Lake City Utah, this weekend, I would like to introduce you to "Coming Home," my newest fabric group that Moda will be showing!

"Coming Home" is my tribute to the amazing trend of Barn Quilts that is popping up all over the country.  One cannot travel far (especially here in the Midwest), without seeing a Quilt Lovers display of their favorite quilt block on the family barn.

The panel of this new group is created from 6 recent paintings of Barn Quilts and homes with quilts in the landscape.

Roosters, sheep, barn siding and colorful patterns are all included in the coordinates.  Everything that you could think of as you "come home" to your favorite familiar setting.

The group will arrive in your favorite local Quilt Store in September of 2011.

Barb Cherniwchan, of Coach House Designs has created 3 wonderful patterns using "Coming Home."

This one uses the entire panel and is called "Country Roads."  Be sure to visit her website,
to see the other two!

Barn Quilts, express the lifestyle of the person living there.  A statement of creativity, passion and fun.
For all Quilt lovers out there, with or without a barn,
this group is for you!

  1. How warm and cozy! I love all the quilts in the panel, and the roosters and the fluffy sheep. The flowers are beautiful and the colors are just so soft and inviting. Can't wait to find this in my local quilt shop!

  10. Stumbled over here from another blog link. Wanted to say how much I like your new line. Colors are perfect for my kitchen and dining room so I'll have to make a table topper and runner for my china cabinet. I have chickens and a horse barn so the prints are right up my alley!
