  1. Oh my! I so love this collection and would love a chance to win! My favorite holiday tradition is probably stuffing the stockings for my kids. They are basically grown up now, the youngest is a freshman in college. But I still love to do it!

  2. I so love this fabric line! It is gorgeous!

Every year, hubby and I go out looking at the lights around the city. We try different areas every week and compare our favorites (and not so favorites!) and try to remember if they changed anything from the year before.

Thanks for the chance to win

  7. One of my favorite holiday traditions is making candy with my father. He is 77, but he still wants to continue the tradition. I am happy to oblige him. I treasure the time shared making our candy for Christmas together.

  8. My favorite tradition is our Christmas stockings. We've ended up traveling a lot the last few years over Christmas, and wherever we go, the stockings are hung. We live in Minnesota, and this year the stockings will hang on a deck railing in California. Our oldest daughter has her first real job and can't come home, so we're going there.

  9. Thank you for the chance to win your beautiful fabric. We have always enjoyed the time we spend decorating the tree. There is always lots of chatter along the way, and reminders of previous years with the different decorations. A very treasured time.

  14. Looks like another beautiful line Deb, soft and refreshing. My favorite tradition, hmm, I think it would be letting the kids open a gift on Christmas Eve. They are always so very excited by this time, they just can't contain it.

  16. Finally! I'm just crazy about this line! There are a lot of holiiday traditions that I love, but probably my favorite is that before the day's insanity starts, my husband and I take our dogs out to a wilderness park and let them run run run! It starts off everyone's day just right!

    Thanks for the opportunity!

  18. Lovely blues - and the Waves pattern is so pretty. I always look forward to our evening of driving around to see Christmas lights. My son is 5 and he's really into spotting the displays and loves all the blow up characters that people put in their yards.

  19. I've been looking for some lovely blues, thank you! My favorite tradition is cutting down a tree. This year we cut one out of our backyard--we've just bought our home and wanted a couple of trees removed anyway so that seemed like the most appropriate way to do it. It was doubly nice because my baby girl is just 2 months old and she could "participate" too.

I also love singing Christmas songs around the tree with all of the lights except the tree lights off.

  22. Gorgeous fabric! Our traditions have changed as our children got older and emptied our nest. Now we just look forward to their visits. :-) And we always call who ever couldn't make it home. Thanks for the chance!

  23. I have had chinese noodles every year (67 of them) on Christmas eve, my mother fixed them because it was quick and easy and she usually had as many as 40 for dinner on Christmas. I continue the tradition just because, and have served as many as 18. We usually have friends and family and sometimes the family of friends and in-laws. This year I am expecting 13 or so. Just take beef stew meat and simmer all day - adding flavors as needed for a good broth. Shread beef, and chop up onion and hard boiled eggs to use as toppings. Cook chinese noodles in the broth (usually have to add broth if serving large groups as the noodles soak it up). Serve in bowls with broth and let guests top as desired. Some use soy for flavors - I prefer just the broth.

  30. Past holiday traditions have revolved around family coming together and enjoying favorite foods - crown roast of pork with all of the trimmings and Christmas pudding for dessert.

Now that the kids are grown and other family members have moved away, we are enjoying beachside vacations in Florida. As I need to make a couple of beach-themed quilts for our vacation home, this line of fabric will be perfect!

    Happy Holidays,
    Robin

  32. Used to live by the ocean and really miss it. Have been planning a beach/sea quilt and this will be the perfect fabric for it!
My favorite tradition has been to have my son pick out keepsake ornaments each year to add to the tree.

  33. My favorite tradition is spending time with my children, my neighbors and my friends on Christmas Eve. Everyone brings something to share for a meal and we talk and share stories. After my neighbors and friends go home, my sons and I go to a candlelight service. I treasure this because they are both older now and soon will have their own families to create family traditions with.

  35. My favorite tradition is one we (I) hope to implement this year. Our children are all grown and beginning lives of their own and not always able to be with us on Christmas, so my husband and I are planning to go out to eat on Christmas Eve and then spend the evening together quietly, maybe watching a movie, with hot cocoa and treats. I think that will make a great new tradition for us as we wait for the grandbabies to start arriving! ;)
