The Wonderful Ladies of Shelbyville!

Hello Dear Friends,

Last week, I was honored to be invited to speak at the "30th Annual Quilt Show" in Shelbyville, Indiana.  The event was held at the Grover Museum, complete with a luncheon and a room full of friendly and very talented quilters.

They had a beautiful quilt being raffled off (which I really hope that I win!)

And some of the ladies surprised me by exhibiting their creations made with my fabrics!

In the display case was a beautiful quilt created by Debra Bassett (shown), using "Cherish Nature."

Rita Hellmich, a dear friend and VERY talented quilter, created several projects using "Fresh Flowers."

Rita really is one of the most creative people I know!  She uses every bit of the fabric in some beautiful way.  Above, she has created a still life using the blooms from the fabric.
Inspiring!

An incredible "Heritage Quilts" display will be at the Grover Museum, in Shelbyville until May 28th. It has some of the most beautiful vintage quilts that I have seen....all created with love and care.
I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

Happy Quilting!
Always,
Deb
